The Time and Cost of Deploying Proxxi Contact
When choosing to proceed with a contact tracing solution, time and cost are two of the most important factors in choosing a solution. Proxxi Contact is a relatively low-impact contact tracing solution to implement, but to ensure you have all of the information, we have reviewed the time and cost involved in this article.
How much does it cost to rollout Proxxi Contact?
To use Proxxi Contact you will need very few additional items, and they are all things that you or your organization already has access to: USB chargers, an iOS device, and a device you can access an internet browser from.
For charging the wristbands, organizations can opt to use individual or bank USB chargers. The wristbands can also be charged on-site or taken home to charge. Many companies already have additional chargers available, whereas some choose to purchase dedicated chargers. If purchasing a bank charger, we recommend choosing one that allows the wristbands to be oriented side-by-side as opposed to on top of one another.
For using the Proxxi Contact Mobile App, which is required for wristband assignment, data syncing, and firmware updates, an iOS device is required. Wristband wearers do not need an iOS device, as the wristband records contact interactions independently from the app.
This iOS device can be an iPad, iPod, or iPhone - including older models. The only requirement is that it is running iOS v13 or higher. Some organizations opt to use an iOS device they already have, or purchase a dedicated one for the Proxxi Contact rollout.
The Proxxi Contact Dashboard can be accessed from any laptop, desktop, or mobile device that can use an internet browser. It is likely your organization will already have something available for your Dashboard Manager to use.
We recommend ensuring that all of these items are available or procured once you have confirmed your Proxxi Contact order in order to avoid any delay in deployment.

How long does it take to deploy Proxxi Contact?
Order to deployment can be five to seven business days for small to medium sized orders. For the wristbands, the primary steps in deployment are charging and assignment of the wristbands to wearers. You will also need to ensure you complete the Dashboard manager form (found in your shipping and delivery emails) so that your organization’s Dashboard is set up, as well as download the mobile app.
For a successful deployment, we recommend scheduling an onboarding meeting with our Customer Success team prior to beginning the process.
What will be expected of my team during the rollout process?
The deployment primarily is the responsibility of the person we refer to as the Assignment Manager. If your organization has many wristbands to deploy, we recommend having a few people involved in this process. Assignment Managers are responsible for charging, assigning, and distributing the wristbands during deployment.
Once the wristbands have been assigned and distributed to the wearers, rollout is complete! Ongoing use of the wristbands just includes data syncing, daily charging, updating firmware when necessary, and performing contact tracing via the dashboard when required.
